Rex Chatterjee is the managing principal of Titan Grey and is based out of the firm’s headquarters in New York.
A career risk management professional, Rex brings over a decade of US & international experience to bear on solving clients’ toughest issues.
Rex has advised corporate clients at all stages of growth: from day-1 startups to large-cap public companies. Rex has advised these clients on a wide range of risk management matters, including employee practices, business process improvement, supply chain management, regulatory compliance, business expansion, new market entry, product innovation, technology management, data privacy, cybersecurity and others.
Rex has advised Boards of Directors and Boards of Trustees on risk management responsibilities and internal investigations.
Rex has advised venture capital and private equity firms in their investments into businesses across a wide variety of sectors, including fashion & luxury brands, retail & wholesale, media & publications, consumer services & hospitality, oil & gas, renewable energy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, technology startups and others.
Rex has also advised debtors, trustees and creditors in both in-court and out-of-court restructurings on matters such as due diligence, investigations and others.
Prior to joining Titan Grey, Rex served as the Global Head of Legal, Risk and Compliance for a large public multinational corporation in the diversified petrochemicals industry. Rex has also served as the Project Head of a major regulatory risk management initiative at a large international bank, and as General Counsel and Head of Risk for a US-based construction management firm. Rex has held roles as a corporate bankruptcy and restructuring attorney at a New York law firm, and as a risk management consultant with a major global audit & advisory firm.
In addition to his native English, Rex is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
Rex holds a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School.
